Pristene is LyondellBasell’s trade name for its premium performance metallocene-based polymers intended for use in customer applications ranging from extrusion blow molding to injection molding.  Produced using the company's proprietary single-site catalyst technology, this family of metallocene-based resins has been developed to provide exceptionally high clarity along with high levels of purity. These characteristics offer customers a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to glass and transparent polymers such as polycarbonate, polymethyl-methacrylate, styrene-acrylonitrile, PET-G and rigid PVC. Pristene resins are used in a variety of customer applications including food and beverage packaging, food service trays/covers, drinking cups/pitchers, storage containers, media packaging, technical products and medical labware.

exceptionally high clarity, good stiffness/impact balance, fast processability, low volatiles and extractables, melt stability, no pre-drying
